Bre (she/her) is a warm and empathetic Clinical Psychologist who recently relocated to the Gold Coast after training and practicing in New Zealand, where she completed her clinical psychology qualification at the University of Canterbury.
Bre spent the past few years working at South Island Eating Disorder Services in Christchurch, a specialty clinic treating eating disorders alongside high rates of co-occurring anxiety, trauma, depression and OCD.
Bre has a special interest in trauma, anxiety, eating disorders, and obsessive-compulsive related disorders, including body dysmorphic disorder (BDD). Bre is committed to providing inclusive and affirming care for LGBTQIA+ individuals and neurodiverse individuals.
In her practice, Bre prioritises working collaboratively with clients and draws on modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Metacognitive Therapy (MCT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Bre also offers EMDR for trauma, anxiety, and negative core beliefs.
Bre is committed to evidence-based practice and brings a warm, collaborative, and client-centred approach to her work, with a particular focus on helping clients achieve lasting, sustainable change in line with their needs, goals, and values.
