Professional Supervision

Several of the psychologists at CAO provide clinical supervision.

Supervision can be provided either face-to-face via videoconference by our clinical psychologists at CAO.

Supervision is offered by board approved supervisors who are experienced in the following areas:

• Treatment of anxiety disorders in children, adolescents and adults

• Treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), using:

  • Exposure with response prevention

  • Inference-based cognitive behavioural therapy (I-CBT)

• Treatment of body dysmorphic disorder (BDD)

• Pre-cosmetic surgery readiness assessment

• Management of tics and Tourette’s

• Management of body-focussed repetitive behaviours (e.g., trichotillomania and skin-picking)

• Neurodiversity affirming therapy for neurodivergent client with anxiety and obsessive-compulsive related disorders (OCRDs)

• Differential diagnosis of anxiety, OCRDs and other client concerns
