Cindy (she/her) is a provisionally registered psychologist currently completing her Master of Clinical Psychology at Flinders University. Cindy is joining CAO for her final placement before becoming a registered psychologist.

Before pursuing psychology, Cindy spent more than 12 years working as a teacher and school leader. Through this experience, she worked closely with children and families from a wide range of backgrounds, including neurodivergent children, those with learning difficulties, English as an Additional Language learners, and children experiencing vulnerability and disadvantage. This work fostered her passion for supporting young people to build confidence, resilience, and positive outcomes.

During her psychology training, Cindy has gained experience working with individuals experiencing eating disorders and delivering interventions within a cognitive behavioural therapy framework. She has also published research with the Australian Institute for Sleep Health and has a particular interest in the role of sleep and lifestyle factors in promoting wellbeing and mental health.

Cindy enjoys working with clients across the lifespan experiencing OCD, anxiety and related difficulties. She values evidence-based practice and works collaboratively with clients to develop practical strategies that support meaningful change. Her approach is warm, compassionate, and down-to-earth, with a focus on helping clients improve their quality of life and achieve their personal goals.
