Jenna Laroque

CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST

 

Jenna is a dedicated Clinical Psychologist with a wealth of experience garnered from diverse settings, including private and public sectors, and both inpatient and outpatient environments. Experienced in mental health across the lifespan, Jenna compassionately supports individuals facing a spectrum of challenges, from anxiety and mood disorders to trauma and relational struggles. Her experience extends to addressing issues of low self-esteem, eating disorders, poor body image, emotional dysregulation or overwhelm, self-criticism, perfectionism and apathy. Jenna supports individuals by fostering healing and growth through a strengths-based and neurodiversity-affirming approach.

As a board-approved supervisor, Jenna not only provides clinical guidance but also nurtures the development of aspiring psychologists through clinical supervision. Jenna holds accreditation in Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and completed the Level 1 training in Internal Family Systems (IFS). Jenna also combines evidence-based modalities like Schema and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to tailor interventions that resonate with each individual's needs.

Jenna's therapeutic style is characterized by warmth, empathy, a relational approach, and a deep understanding of each individual that she works with. She creates a safe space where clients feel heard, validated, and empowered to embark on their journey towards psychological well-being and self-discovery.

Jenna is currently accepting new clients. She consults on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons.
