Lisa Porritt

Lisa (she/her) is a registered psychologist completing her PhD in Clinical Psychology at Griffith University. She has worked with a diverse range of client presentations and populations in various settings, including schools, hospitals, and private practice.
Her special interests areas include anxiety, phobias, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). She has a particular interest in women’s sexual health, including conditions such as vaginismus, dyspareunia, and other genito-pelvic pain difficulties. Lisa also works with clients experiencing stress, grief, adjustment issues, interpersonal difficulties, and mental health concerns in older adults.
In her therapeutic work, Lisa draws on a variety of approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). She strives to create a warm and collaborative therapeutic space where clients feel understood and supported.
